In the midst of World War I, two British soldiers, Lance Corporal Schofield and Lance Corporal Blake, are given a mission to cross enemy lines and deliver a crucial message to prevent an attack that would endanger thousands of lives. Along the way, they face numerous obstacles and horrors of war.
