A group of rebels led by Princess Leia Organa steals the plans for the Empire’s new weapon, the Death Star, which can destroy entire planets. Leia is captured by Darth Vader and taken aboard the Death Star, where she is rescued by Luke Skywalker, a farm boy from Tatooine, and Han Solo, a smuggler. Together, they undertake a mission to destroy the Death Star, with the help of the wise Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi.
