Luke, Leia, and Han lead the final assault on the Empire’s new superweapon, the Death Star II. Meanwhile, Luke confronts Vader and seeks to turn him back to the light side of the Force. The film culminates in a climactic battle between the Rebels and the Empire, and the redemption of Darth Vader as he saves Luke and destroys the Emperor.
